The Vari-Crafts Avian Caged Sunflower & Mixed Seed Feeder has a squirrel resistant design that provides a safe haven for small songbirds. The 1.5 IN green vinyl-coated square fencing creates perching for several small songbirds while resisting squirrels and preventing larger birds from feeding. The 12.5 IN diameter green metal feeder dome not only protects the seed from the elements, but also holds a massive three gallon seed reservoir. The large seed capacity will reduce the number of trips you make outside to fill the feeder and the tube's clear lexan plastic feeding stations keep the seed level visible.
The feeder cap can be removed for quick filling and the ingenious clip lock system keeps the cap in place. The feeder tube is made of 0.25 IN thick, high-density PVC resin that is perfect for feeding small birds with its six feeding stations and individual perches. The reservoir is vented to eliminate condensation and keep seed fresh and dry. The green metal base prevents seed waste and is equipped with drainage holes.
This feeder may be hung using the included 5 IN stainless steel hanger, or it can be pole mounted using a 1 IN diameter pole with metal bird feeder flange. Pole sold separately.
